![]() Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in East Fairview Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Rapho Township. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral service at the Salem United Methodist Church 140 North Penn Street, Manheim on Thursday, Decemat 10:30 AM. The family would like to thank the staff at Pleasant View Retirement Community for the excellent care she received since relocating there. ![]() She was almost unbeatable at Scrabble and enjoyed reading, gardening and music. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends on trips to Potter County and Ontario, Canada where the couple vacationed each summer for over 50 years. Blanck also volunteered at the Manheim library and other local charities. ![]() She was a very active member of Salem United Methodist Church in Manheim where she taught Sunday school, sang in the choir and performed many duets with the late Nellie Lull. She was a retired educator at the Manheim Central School District and taught French, Latin and English. Blanck was a 1941 graduate of Lebanon Valley College with a bachelor of arts degree in education. Preceding her in death is a brother, Reynold Hollinger. ![]() ![]() Surviving in addition to her husband, are two sons: David Blanck husband of Martha Kenworthy of Hershey, Philip Blanck husband of Rachel Beiler Blanck of Lititz, four grandchildren: Sarah Messersmith, Christopher Myers, Alex and Leah Blanck, and a brother Richard husband of Helen Hollinger of Palmyra. They were married Augand celebrated their 65th anniversary last summer. Eloise was born Apin Lebanon to the late David and Sara Wengert Hollinger. Eloise Mae Hollinger Blanck, 92, of Manheim, passed away on Sunday, Decemat Pleasant View Retirement Community. ![]()
